My friend went to Cafe K for lunch today and told me it was closed down by the Health Department. Eeeewwwwww. The only other info I could find on the web was this. If anyone has any more info, please let me know. This was one of my favorite lunch places in midtown.
Update:
Ezzie pointed me to CWY's blog, where I found out that CWY was one of the last customers before the Health Dept shut them down. Yuck.

I never went there, I went to the one in Brookyn. Yikes it had to be pretty terrible to close it down.

CWY wrote a post on it. He was eating there AS IT WAS GETTING CLOSED! (Yuck!)

It's a nice place and I did like the food. Great to place to take friends visiting from out of town, as well as coworkers, and so convenient for me. 3 min walk from my office.

It reopened. I figured I'd order from there last night, when it was still clean. :)
