My son loves army boots (he is 5) and he lost one. Now he insists on wearing his old left red regular snow boot and right army boot even though it is 80 degrees outside. his teachers want to kill me. I say, it makes him happy, who am I to to take that from him?

Dealing with a kid is a totally different story. There is no logic involved. This was a grown woman; it was just so strange.
